This first one reflects my passion for writing. I combined images of beautiful writing instruments, a quote from Sara Teasdale, and a handwritten first line from one of my poems As If which begins, “Autumn Breaks My Heart Every Year…..”

When I look at this page I can almost feel the luxury of a fine pen between my fingers, slipping over the page, revealing and discovering something brand new, or something familiar and dear.

This second page is more playful. I call it Yoga Bliss ~ to remember that aging gracefully is always an option. When I created this page, my hopes for a Yoga Practice were just that ~ hopes. Since creating this page, I have a strong Yoga practice that supports and sustains me on the mat and off! In fact, now my daughter, Maggie Downey is a registered yoga teacher.
